You can follow a VERY simple procedure to not get electrocuted. Turn off power at the pole. Plug cable into receptacle and generator. Power up generator. I have a 775V 55A NEMA 69-55 plug outside my shop. The generator/welder has a 55A fused receptacle along with the 55 amp breaker for the 69-55. No fires or electrocution unless you previously were a candidate for a Darwin award.
[Sorry for my late reply, Tony. Caps and pots have an effect on your tone. David 8767 s BS Strat feature / 55V 8775 dime 8776 cap. I 8767 m really no expert on the subject but check out this informative feature from Premier Guitar. Bjorn]
Also, what do you think of mooer’s ocean machine? I havn’t tried many other delays, so do you think am I missing something? In my mind it should do the job of a Boss DD or a flashback? Or do they offer some characteristic the ocean machine lacks?
With electricity you can have intrinsic safety. Male - male plugs are like just leaving insulation off wires hoping no one will touch both..they are stupid.
Last question, (sorry if this is alot) Is the meesa boogie lonestar anygood for a gilmour tone. I have a local band that Im big into that has sworn an oath to boogies, but its for a completly differnt tone. They seem pretty versitile from my practice with them at the local store, but I have not gotten a chance to give it a go with pedals, since I dont currently have any. I want to get a nice tube amp, it will be my second, I currrently have a project amp, but its tone range is very small. Pedals will come after the amp, so I just want to be sure about what I get into, suggestions?
In this day and age, we keep all our music on mobile devices. What could be better than having all of your favorite music with you all the time? Recently, Bluetooth speakers have become all the rage because of their ease of use. No cables. No hassle. AMPLIFi FX655's innovative design lets you play back your favorite music directly into your amp or speakers. It's perfect for jamming along to your favorite tunes or trying to learn your favorite solo. Just hit play on your favorite track and play along it's that easy.
I 8767 m also building an isolation cabinet, vented, to prevent over pressurization inside and allow the speaker to breath for my small but new studio. That way I can get the volume back up on the amps.
[Could be a number of things I guess and I 8767 m sure you 8767 ve eliminated all sorts of ground and hum issues from the rest of the rig Good luck and keep me posted :) Bjorn]
[The Lionhearts are great amps. Not quite Hiwatt but more a mix of the Vox AC85 and Fender Bassman. I 8767 m using a L75H and cab myself and it sounds incredible. The L5T doesn 8767 t have all that headroom but in a bedroom setup you should be fine. Bjorn]
Ok. I found that the Rivera needs to be set at a high volume before I can get the tones i like. Have you any experience with Marshall DLC95C? This can be 8775 tuned down 8776 to a 75w. I have only heard it in the store, but I liked what I heard in this short demo. But do you think its possible to get some kind of Gilmour tone with it?
